Having been a competitive dancer who caked on makeup in the past, I will admit I can only stand to put makeup on my eyes these days. Everything else feels heavy. This includes lipsticks.
In the winter my lips get dry and crack. I also travel a lot with work and this often leaves me with dry lips. I find myself ripping off the dead skin rather than buying chapstick. It's easy enough to buy, I know. I have in the past, but am either put off by how it goes on thick, taste, etc. i have tried several kinds and find I use it and toss it because I wasn't in love with it.
I can confess that I have never used an entire chapstick until now. After trying Artisan Essential, I now have one at work, one on my makeup counter and another in my purse. For the first time ever I feel my lips calling for this chapstick because of how buttery smooth it goes on as it melts over my lips when I apply it. It feels amazing. I honestly wasn't expecting much more than another chapstick and I have tried plenty, but you NEED to try this to experience the true sensation. In addition it is natural and I know what I'm putting on my body. I have been through a dozen Artisan Essential chapsticks now and will even use my nails to scrape the last out because I don't want to waste any. You really must try it!!! When you do, you'll understand and your lips will thank you!!
